So it looks as I have to do the roof here pretty quick, the roof is quanset/stiener arch style and one of the question's I have is tinning around the insulated chimney and wirly gig.
We will be using WS-1, 36 inch coverage and 27'.8" long.

Is there a shield/flashing that lets you go from the ribs to flat and back to ribbed around the chimney/wirly gigs???

thanks

Re: steel roof question

I think I understand what you are looking for.

No sure about other manufacturers, but the Midwest Steel that Menards sells, uses flat flashing, that uses a foam rubber Gasket, between roofing and flashing, that conforms to the ribs and flats and has adhesive on one side. Just stick it on the roofing and mount the flashing on top of it.

Hope this helps.

Re: steel roof question

I just finished putting a steel roof on my cabin. I used the metal sales product. I think what you are looking for is on page 5 in the link attached. I had three stacks that I had to fit these on oand they were a piece of cake.

Just cut the rubber boot to size, form the steel ring to the panel, apply sealant, and screw down.

I have a source for colored boots and sealant if interested. The colors match the metal sales products..

This is the brochure for the panel I used..
