Yes I was wondering: is there a minimum or maximum
travel of the outboard to the left or right that provides safe and practical steering?
My steering allows 20 degree to the left and 20 degree to the right from center. Is that enough?
Remove the steering link from the front of the motor and then turn the motor side to side. With it connected it should turn about the same amount. If it only turns as much as what's shown in the pic, then something isn't right.
