Steering cable, im new to this, what type is this and should i go through teleflex?

What steering cable? LOL




Look at the steering rack for a model number or some kind of identification and order the cable that goes with it. Although after 42 years it may be better to buy a full kit with a new helm and cable because rack and pinions do wear out. A kit cost only a few bucks more than a cable alone and you have all new steering.
