steering cable lubrication

As you remember, I had installed new tanks under the floor, so everything from the console was disconnected, all control cables and electrical systems.

As I will be reassembling the center console during the next few days I was wondering what can I do to extend the life of the steering cable. It is not older than 1 year, but I want to lubricate it. Is it recommended to drop some heavy oil inside of it or will it collect dust and end up damaging it???

If you have the cable diconnected from the steering head, you can put a little grease there.

Otherwise, that's it.

Teleflex has the nut with the grease gun nipple you can put on and then just use the grease gun to lubricate when needed.
