I have pulled my old steering cable out to replace it and it says it is a 13-5ft...does this mean it is 13 and a half foot cable....if so i have not been able to find anything but a 13 and a 14...can someone help me out please????

Length shouldn't make any difference as long as you can install it without violating any of the conditions that apply, such as minimum radius of a bend.
In other words, if you can put it in without kinking it, it'll be OK.
