I am new to the boating world. But I have been asked to help a friend with his home project. So here goes..<br />He has a mid 70's 100hp v4 Johnson outboard. He has mounted it to the back of his boat. I have figured out all the wiring to make it work, electric shift and all. But....<br />There is no tilt tube for this machine, just a bolt. So the big question is how do I steer the darn thing? There is a tilt tube with the boat, but the motor doesn't have one, So, how do I convert this to work. Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated. Jim
