I am starting to reinstall parts taken off so I could replace the intermediate bearings.. the steering fork was a tough bugger getting out. I am reinstalling it now. The splines and "pitman arm looking part" are in excellent shape. but there is some play (side to side) after the reinstall -- should the bushings be replaced? they appeared fine (bushing #872363 and 872362) If

I put anti-seize on the splines and cleared both grease holes on the spline shaft already and grease flows pretty good..

thanks

Re: steering fork/helmet 275

I actually just changed those two bushings you referenced on my steering arm/fork. Even with brand new bushings there is still a tiny bit of play. My advise - if the bearings look good, just reuse them and grease it well.
