Steering mess

Alright, I probably should have started here. I got this boat last year, a '73 arrowglass with a triumph 65hp motor. This spring the steering tube was stuck. The only numbers on the cable are "T 12 ft T" I looked all over the web, but I couldn't identify it, or a replacement. So I ordered a "Teleflex QC II Rotary Steering Cable". I got it, but I don't know what tube fits it. I'm about 99% positive that the cable ain't coming out of the old tube, but I bet if I can get the tube for this cable I can fixer up. Would it be this one?

I know I shoulda started this project here first...

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but thats my inexperience. Maybe try to get some pictures of what you have and what you are trying to replace it with?
