Wrong place? I'll give this a shot.

I have a 1990 Bayliner 2052 Capri, 1990 model with the 5.0L V8 and an Alpha 1 outdrive. My problem is this- this boat continues to blow the low pressure power steering hose. I have replaced the hose twice. The first time I thought it was just a bad hose- new hose, same result. Then I figured there must be a restriction in the line or the cooler- took it all apart and it is clean. The pump is clean and has no restrictions. The system will not blow the hose while running on muffs in my driveway but as soon as I put it in the water it goes. When I first repaired the line, I started the engine and the outdrive wouls slowly move to the right til it came to the stops. You turn the wheel back and forth as much as you want in the driveway and it is fine. Launch it and it blows within 5 minutes. I have the pump out and apart and the cooler out. Both are immaculate. The line is new. Yet, it still blows the line. This is the LOW PRESSURE hose- how can this be happening? I am stumped on this. Short of replacing every component on the boat I do not know where to look. Can anyone help?

UFM82

I do not alot about these but there is a high pressure valve in the pump is it stuck? did you change pump and get a differentsize pully?
