When I picked my boat up from storage (18'cc w/60hp yamaha 2004) the steering was froze. While tryin to break it loose my friend overturned the wheel and it made a loud pop. Now I have the steering free but if there is any resistance the steering wheel will pop before the motor turns. The popping sound seems to be under the steering wheel. I have rotary steering with the plastic extention tube. What can I do to fix this problem?
