steering problems after new prop!!!

hi there again here is my question 1979 mercruiser 228/305 with a alpha one I used to have a 14/21 pitch 3 blade prop, I installed a new 4 blade 14/21 pitch but the boat is really difficult to control when is in iddle or at low rpm, should I get another 3 blade prop like the old that I used to have, What can be the cause thanks.

Do you mean it wanders at no wake speeds?This is typical of I/Os.
Was there no wander with the 3 blade?Are there no other changes?
A 4 blade is said to provide lift making planing easier Perhaps there is just enough lift to create wander.Have you tried to play with the trim?
moving people around?With careful attention and practice you can smooth out wander.
