I just picked up an old Crestliner 14 Angler, a little fishing boat. It came with a 1999 Johnson 15HP but the boat is rated for a 35HP or something like that. The motor is setup for steering from a little station, see picture.
I have another motor, a old 1975 Johnson 25HP that is tiller steering. I would like to put the 25HP motor on the Crestliner and could use some help figuring out a couple of things.
1) I'd like to switch the 25HP motor from tiller to steering
2) I'd like to switch the 15HP motor from steering to tiller. I have a smaller boat that would be perfect for this 15HP motor, but need a tiller.
I'll appreciate any suggestions.
