I just purchased my first boat, a 2003 Lowe 180W. I noticed that the steering wheel is not "straight" when the boat is going straight forward. I've attached the photo of the steering wheel when the boat going straight forward.

In my opinion, I think the steering wheel should be rotated about 160 degrees clockwise.

Can I remove the steering wheel and re-align the steering wheel? Is this an easy task? I've worked on cars and motorcycles before so I'm comfortable with mechanical repairs.

Mine was the same way. I took it off and turned it also.

If your steering wheel is anything like mine. I removed the center cover off the steering wheel. There is a nut under the cover. Loosen off the nut and pull off the steering wheel from the column. I'm far from being mechanical and have only done this once. I'm not too sure how you would take off the cover from your steering wheel to get to the nut from your picture. Good luck
