I just finished recovering the inside of my boat and now want to change the steering wheel from brown to black. My concern is the space between the dash and the back of the wheel, I guess you would call it the steering column. As of now there is a plastic brown piece that covers the steering shaft. Do new wheels come with a matching piece for the column or will I have to paint the existing one and hope that the center of the wheel covers the diameter of the existing column cover?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Medic
