I have a 80 hydrostream vector 17ft and i am thinking of replacing the dual steering cables which im sure are the source of the problem my question is with out removing the cables is there any way of telling what length cables i need and two what would be my best bet in the cables ( Type or brand best for the buck ) the boat sit for a couple years Thanks

Every steering cable I've ever seen has it's length Printed on it,.....<br />Usually within the 1st few feet of the Motor End........<br /><br />"( Type or brand best for the buck )"<br />Teleflex has bought All the competition,.......There really Aren't Any choices........

I have was looking at the Teleflex no feedback steering system it seems to be a good piece will a good price but the only thing is mine has a dual cable and the no feedback looks to be a single im am wondering if it will be ok with my 17ft boat with the 150hp mercury
