I have a Morse helm on my 1989 24' Albmarle. Are they rebuildable or do you have to buy the whole rack and pinion. If I do have to buy the whole rack and pinion can I use my teleflex or is it built onto the new one? Thanks

I had a Morse rack and pinion on my 1978 17' Glastron when I bought it. I went back with a Teleflex No feed back rotory system. It is a lot easier to install the cable.

I can't answer the rebuildability question, but I can report that Morse Controls Company was sold to Teleflex. Teleflex obsoleted many of the Morse products, epecially if there was a competitive Teleflex item.
