If someone didn't know what it was, then they wouldn't have much knowledge of rather they were any good or not.

It was to refresh the memories here and show it to those who may have never have seen it before. It's been 8 years or so, since it was introduced, and it seems like it's been forgotten a little. I haven't seen much talk on the forums I watch/write on.

Anyway, I would also like to hear experiences with this gearbox.

THE reports ive read all say it good but thay are trying to sell the step drive .also a local volvo dealer done some testing on the gear box and sead it was good .but what it like after a year or two of use as thay are no longer made IVSS marine have a lot of the step drives for sale .
