Any advice on installation would be helpful......Thanks! It is a 1990 OMC Cobra with a 4.3 One more thing, does anyone know where I can get a used 4.3L ?

Put a large screw driver through the u joint and turn and wiggle it while pushing the drive on. You will know when you have it because it will slip right in.

You can't eyeball the alignment, you're just going to break something. Cheeck ebay for the tool, I got mine for $40.

Wow, take it from me (my coupler came apart), get it aligned right, don't skimp, don't guess, and don't force it. Coupler replacement requires engine removal, and the coupler needs proper alignment.

An old yoke works too btw. Basicly you dont want any resistance. If it doesnt slide in easy (almost fall in), then the engine is too high or low.

-- Joe
