Stern Light on Venture Bass Boat

I need to purchase a replacement light assembly for the stern on a Venture Tournement Edition bass boat.It has a Perko fig.1026 assembly on it and I'm having problems finding a replacement.I assume it has been superseded with another number or discontinued.Could anyone help me?.I have tried 3 lights so far and none of them will cover the existing mounting holes for the orignal light.It is a nice boat and i would like to have an original like replacement if possible.Thank you.

If I understand correctly, this is the stern light that goes on a pole - right?<br /><br />If so:<br /><br />Sometimes all you have to do is use the same mounting bracket, but use a different pole and light. I had to do something like that myself on an older mahogany boat where I wanted to have everything look the same and use as much of the old cool-looking hardware as possible. As I recall, a little sawing and rejoining of electrical wires is be required.

Did you try your local dealer? They can order the part from the perko catalog if the local perko distributor has it in the warehouse. I have done this for a few parts that I found in the manufacturers catalog online. I print the page and bring it to my local marine store and they order the part. Most parts come in a week with their next delivery from the distributor, some parts the distributor has to order then it can take two or three weeks. <br /><br />I have also called some of the online stores and gave them the part number and they call back and tell me if they can get it and the price.<br /><br />If you have a part number, you are half way there.

Thanks for the reply.Perhaps i mislead you with my question.The light on the pole is okay.The problem is the receptacle that the light plugs into.locking feature is broken and the light pole will not stay locked into it.So i need a replacement for the original.Sorry for the confusion.
