Stern piece identification

Hi, need help identifying the white plastic piece, boat is away in storage, but while powerwashing (excuse the mess) I snapped off the black tube attached to it.

Have an older fish finder, am assuming it is a temp sensor? Fixable? Obsolete?

Fixable? No. Obsolete? No

Thanks for the info. Put a new pickup on, connected to the existing tube, but the speedo is no longer working. Is there something needed to setup or establish pressure?

Not really. Make sure the nipple from the old pickup didn't break off and stay in the black tube.
If you are ever running down the lake and have water start squirting out from under the console, you know the end of that tube has came off of the back of the speedo!
