Stiletto BAY PRO-II Stainless Steel Rust spots

I recently purchased a Stiletto BAY PRO-II Stainless Steel four blade propeller from boatownersworld.com at a great price. I installed the prop a few weeks ago and today I noticed a rust spots/stains on it. It hasn't even been in the water.
Is this normal or has anyone had any problem with this ? If so, is there anything I should do to prevent this happening ?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Most likely the oils from your hands, moisture in the air, etc. Needs a coat of wax once cleaned up. Here's a previous thread on the same subject...
