I have read every word on the Cobra on the Hastings site. I have followed his procedures for checking everything out and I still cant seem to get this thing right.
The shift cable was replaced in march. I disconnected it at the engine and it does move freely and like a new cable should.
I tested the ESA with a multimeter as described in the manual and it tests good.
But I still have the problem. When I shift into drive the shift assist DOES stumble the engine but I have to give it throttle or jiggle the throttle to get it to disengage. Sometimes are worse than others. Sometimes I cant get it to disengage and the engine will die.
Look at these 2 you tube videos. The one with my hand in there if you listen to it you can hear that the rocker arm engages but doesnt disengage.
The other video is me telling my friend to shift and you can see and hear it engaging but not disengaging.

Any suggestions?
As always thanks so much
