Still open for suggestions on carb problem

The carb on this 5 Hpr is still leaking air @ the top of the carb,threw the half moon shape part of the carb that is the throttle controle and housing,I have a choke plate and housing I cut off of a Brigs carb,and have mounted that on the front of the intake to regulate the air flow,Yes if you can amagine that then it probably looks that funny,but it works,but I would like to get rid of the air leak and I don't want to send the whole carb to some forieng country never to be seen again,or not untill the summer is over,I,E (Twin Citys ect) I'm looking for a (in house) sollution.For example I'm thinking of melting wax and pooring that in there,Iv'e tried Lithium greese,this is all at the top of the carb,and I'm not going to go crazy and encase the whole top of the carb in wax,just poor enough to get the wax in there between the plastic controle and the housing.<br />Any other Ideas?
