2 hp older evinrude junier lots of spark will not even spit for me new coil plug@wireit did run in march 09 not now why i need it for may two4 week end. much help needed. how do i check the timing and whats the jet setings.
the timing is checked by seeing if the flywheel key is sheared or not. If the flywheel key is intact, then it is timed perfectly. I hope you checked to see if you had good spark by seeing if it would jump a 1/4 inch air gap. Sometimes a weak coil will make a spark, but not enough inside the cylinder.
Also, are you getting fuel to the carburetor?
