Hey there fellas! I've been out of pocket for some time now, but I have a good excuse. My daughter made contact with me some months ago. I haven't seen her in 13 years! I have a new grandson! Good grief, do I feel old! Been trying to build a decent relationship with them so boat work slowed to a crawl. It sure is nice being called "Daddy" again!

I did, however, get the boat split and the engine out. Transom is finally complete and have begun work on the stringers. I still have many, many questions and need as much guidance as ya'll can spare so hopefully you'll be seeing more of me in the near future.

I'll be posting new pics soon so ya'll can critique my fiberglassing skills. Thanks again.

Re: still workin'

While I'm thinking about it.....

.....after the floor is finished and all the sanding has been done, what do I cover it with. Carpet concerns me because of water retention so my thoughts were to use a good epoxy paint and use some nonskid media in appropriate high traffic areas but everyone tells me that that will be unbearably hot in direct sunlight. So I'm at an empass. Floor will soon be complete soon and I have no idea what to do.

Ill bet your moving aheck of alot faster than me still though. Its been 5 months and i still dont have all the foam out :( . Its alot of work doing these boats and with life throwing its random curves at you it can really make work slow to a crawl. Congrats on the family news and keep at whatever pace you need to work at.
