Stinger 18 HP, 115 opt pro xs, prop selection issues

I picked up the stinger 18 hp on Saturday and took it out for a test drive with about 10 gallons of fuel, Wife and 2 kids, and all gear in it. The dealer had a laser 11 20 pitch. The motor is in the 3rd hole. The motor alarm is coming on at about 6000 rpm and there is still a little trim up left if I would let it go up but I obviously let up when the alarm goes off. The hole shot is really good. The prop exhaust holes are open. The midrange has excellent excelleration as well but I am really looking for top end performance as I have a 19 pitch Apollo for pulling the kids around on the tube. The dealer is willing to work with prop testing and to find what works best for this boat. I am looking for some suggestions to find the the right fit.

That's easy,
Just bump up the pitch until you can run WOT and not over rev it with the gear and people that you want.
The only way to know is to try it. The math can only take you so far.

The dealer wants to try a Trophy Plus 23 pitch. the 18 HP also wants to pull left or right when you hit a wave. do you think the 4 blade will work well with the pad v hull?
