Can someone tell me the stock prop size that came on a 1997 Baja 208 islander with a 7.4 engine . The one that on the boat is not the right one.
Turning 4800 rpm with the rev limiter coming on the engine and only going 52mph
It is not a s s prop on the boat now.
Want to get one but want the one that was designed for that year boat
thanks

See If you can try a SS Quiksilver Mirage 23pitch, this prop is a Raker and works well with the Baja hull, If 23p is to hard to plane go down to 21p, I suspect your running a Bravo drive, if so then you should turn a 23p or even a 25p, but stick to a Raker type prop, Baja built those boats with the Drive mounted High ( X-Dimension) and the Mirage prop (raker) is designed to run close to or just piercing the waters surface, a round earred aluminum will perform poorly. The Mirage was most popular prop on Baja's factory set up.
