Re: stock prop

I also recently purchased a 1991 Maxum 1800 SR. Same engine. I have a pretty nice 21 pitch 14" diameter S/S stiletto on mine. It's not stock but it seems to move things along pretty nicely. I think the stock prop is a 13.5 " dia 17 pitch prop or something like that though.

Re: stock prop

Boat's don't have a "stock prop" as the prop can be changed out for varying conditions, load, usage, altitude. What might work great for 1 person's boat might work terrible for your boat.

What are numbers off your trashed prop and how did it work, what do you use your boat for and do you want to improve anything?

Oh yeah, you should ask one of the mods to move this to the prop forum....

Re: stock prop

Maxum makes boats 18-37ft. We can eliminate most of them but the 3.0 was probably in several models. Your prop numbers should appear near the base of the blades or under the prop nut.You also may be able to get the prop fixed at a prop shop.
If you read "read this first" at the top of the page it will help you get the info we need.
We can tell if your setup is right.
