I have a 1997 Tigershark 770 Mont Carlo and the muffler box seems restricted causing the machine to run hot and melt exhaust hoses. I have a buddy who can bend stainless and wanted to know if it will hurt my machine to run a straight pipe. The parts to fix it right are discontinued and I want to ride. I don't really care about noise. I rarely ride inland and am on the great lakes a lot. More worried about a lack of back pressure hurting my engine. Any info is appreciated.
