Hi everyone I have a rookie question that I need help on. First off I have a 17.5 v bottom aluminum fish and ski boat. After loading it the other day I got home and notice that one of the strakes were sitting on one of the bunks. This is the frist time usually i put it on just right. Should i try to move the boat on the tralier or just leave it alone. Im going agian this week soo. The strakes are aluminum and welded to the boat

I would move the bunk, rather than the boat, assuming that the boat is in the correct centered position.

Thats the problem the boat is a little of center because the bunk is on the strake ive pulled the boat on before and it fitted fine. I cant move the bunk while the boats on there can I? I assume it would be okay for a week whats your input.

Yeah your fine. The strake has enough back bone to holde the boat. The bunks on the trailer migt be just a bit too close together and maybe could by widened out just to make some "sloppy room". Or maybe you were too deep in the landing and the back of the boat drifted over.
Make sure your keel rollers are adjusted high enough, i.e. making contact with the keel of the boat while it's correctly loaded on the trailer.
I have a roller trailer and once in a while she loads off center, , bugs the heck out of me. I too have an aluminum boat, so when I get home I put the floor jack under the keel of the boat at the very rear of the boat, (piece of wood between jack and boat) jack it up and move it over a few inches and let it down.
