I have a 2006 Pro-Line that i bought new last year. I store it on the trailer and yesterday when i was waxing the bottom i noticed hair line fractures next to some of the rollers. Also the hull is indented where the rollers are as well. I am assuming the hull is flexible so thats why the indents are there but i am concerned about the hairline fractures. Is that something to worry about or is it normal?

The hull should not flex to the point of cracking the fiberglass.I think maybe the trailer set up was not correct for the weight of the boat. The rollers should not bend in the hull.
Maybe posting some pictures of the set up could give us more ideas.

I would take it to your dealer with it being that new. I think you have a legit issue for them to repair the boat!

Re: Stress Fracturing

The proper way would be to dig out the hairline cracks and apply matching gel coat. My suggestion would be to use a bunk system and ditch those rollers, but as Gary mentioned they just might be set wrong for the boat.
Would definately be taking it back to the dealer if it were mine.

Have you been driving down rough roads, especially at speed? That can cause rollers to push into the hull when you hit washboards or pot holes.

Re: Stress Fracturing

i don't think i was driving down that many roads that could cause this. i think i agree maybe with the trailer being set up wrong. i couldn't get my camera to focus on the cracks but you can see what i mean by the indents from the rollers.

Holy *&^^%%, I would take it back asap, that is some serious flexing and is going to do major damage to the hull if left that way. That is the wrong setup on th trailer for that boat.

Ayuh,........... That sure Don't look Right to Me,.........

I gotta Think that if you're going to be using a Roller Trailer,.......
Your's Needs about Twice as many Rollers as it has Now.......
The psi per Roller is Way Too High.........

A Bunk Trailer might be Better suited to that hull....................

Some Big Bumps might explain the Stress Cracks,........
But,.......
Those Divits Scream Too Much Weight per Roller............

I don't think the comments will change and all of them say to do the same thing. Go back to the dealer and Pro-Line ASAP.
