Is there much of a difference? Can I put the 225 behind the 351 Windsor. I noticed that 225 upper housing requires 18 oz. of fluid as where the 235 wants only 13 oz. They look identical.
They have the same gear ratio but the 225 is known as a “high profile” and the 235 is a “low profile”. There is 4” difference between the 2 units. It is possible to swap the ball gear from the 225 in the 235 case but the pinion housings are different and will have to be disassembled to swap the parts.
Thanx for the response. Yes, after more research I realized it's a 235. It was on C list as a 225. $300. I was way wrong on the identical thing because of the seller description and photo.
