Hello my name is Nikki and I bought a 1979 Peterborough Alcan. I would like to restor the boat. I opened up the floors to find severely rotten stingers. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. There's three lengthwise for the boat, all of which are rotten. Just wondering, if it's best to replace the Spinners one at a time, so I don't damage the fiberglass. I also noticed that at the back near the transom the main Stringer appears to be bent. While I replace it do I have to bend it to put it back in the way that it came out or should I fix it I make it straight?

Welcome to the forum and boat restoration.
best to support the hull before you gut it out.
first recommendation is going to be “read the sticky’s at the top of the restoration forum, they will give you a much better understanding of what you’re in store for.
you are also going to want to take a good look at the transom

I see transom, stringers AND floor being replaced before you are finished. That is the typical way most boat projects go on these forums. But if you decide to do that, you picked the absolute best place to get assistance, ideas, suggestions and questions answered.

Also welcome aboard...
