Got one for you. Just out of college, six buddies and myself took of to Suwannee to go fishing using my friend's dad's 18' boat. It was rather chilly that morning. In preparing to launch, my friend unhooked the tie downs and the winch strap. While backing the boat down a fairly steep ramp, the person guiding him back saw something he didn't like and yelled for the driver to "hold it". Well, he hit the brakes the boat shot off the trailer and transomed dived right to the bottom of the river. Not knowing what to do, we all six stripped to our skivvies and dove in. We got a rope connected to the eye, drug the boat underwater close enough to the ramp to get the winch strap on the eye, unhooded the trailer from the truck (but used a rope to tie it to the truck) and proceeded to crank the trailer under the boat. It was tough. By this time a rather entertained croud of locals gathered around. Well, we got the boat out, put our clothes back on, took the plugs out and turned the motor over a few times and put the plugs back in and it started without any problem. I don't remember if we caught any fish, but 20 years later when we get together, we still laugh ourselves to tears over that day.
