Stuck Fuel Sensor Lever

Hi All,
I have a 20' Maxum with a 135HP I/O Mercruiser. My fuel gauge has been stuck on full for the last two seasons and I finally started to pull it apart. I pulled out the fuel sensor and it appears that the lever that holds the float and allows the float to go up and down is very not moving well and gets slightly stuck while moving up and down. Is it worth trying to change just this part or should I change the whole sensor? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Does anyone know where I can purchase this sensor?

I would love any help you can throw my way. Thanks in advance.

Upper left corner of home page. marine store search for fuel senders. there are 2 that you can choose from.

do the whole thing, 30 bucks +/-, not too bad, you have it out so why not. Mine was stuck on E, cork float was bad good luck

For 30 bucks, just replace the whole thing. Aint worth the aggrevation of fiddling with it. Don't forget, it's an electrical component immersed in an explosive material / enviroment........................ I wouldn't feel safe messing with it.
