The credit agencies CANNOT release your information to anyone but you or to a creditor etc...<br /><br />I'm opted out of all solicitation etc...<br />I don't get any junk snail-mail any more. <br /><br />Here is a great web site on how to go about it:<br /><br /> http://www.creditinfocenter.com/cards/preventSellLists.shtml <br /><br />Look at your credit report when you get it, and make sure it says somewhere: 'Blocked for promotional purposes', or 'Consumer Opt-out'<br /><br />Thanks for the heads up though...<br /><br />H.
