I have a Suzuki DF50 and I purchased a replacement prop and propeller hardware kit (OEM). <br /><br />I pulled of the old prop without noting which direction the spacer was installed. The spacer has one side which is flat (smooth) and the other side has cavities and a raised ring. Which end should face out? The manual shows "install spacer" but it does not show which direction to install it. <br /><br />I can't imagine it makes much difference but this is the 1st time I've even done this.
<br /> the first stopper is the thrust washer. it should have a taper on the id that will fit with the taper on the propshaft. the aft stopper should be flat on both sides.<br /> good luck and keep posting
