Re: Stupid question about Shareaproject.com

you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format. 640x480 max.

I think that is a awesome site! Although my project is going slow right now it is going to be pretty cool to look back at it once its done.Kind of a online diary if you will? How do they do it for free?Got to be one big data base to hold all those projects and material.

It set in a freshwater boat slip for 2 years. The Owner had bought the boat new in 1981 and kept it on that lake its whole life.
He had Parkinsons disease and got to where he could not use the boat.
The boat was sold to someone in South America on Ebay the first time, the buyer never paid.
I bid 1100 bucks in the last one minute of the auction and won it.
The trailer still had the original tires but i towed it home 150 miles with my fingers crossed.
New lower from a friend in NY,400 bucks.
Rebuilt the transom,New paint on it,painted the engine, new decals.New Fishfinder,Stereo, and VHF.Added 2 more seats and restored all the teak.
I still have only about 3k in it with all the work and new tires and lights and rollers on the trailer.
It may go up for sale in the spring. Its a little too big for what i need.
If i was closer to salt water it would be perfect..

Re: Stupid question about Shareaproject.com

Its definetly a sweet boat.I like the deck.Man wash that crawler dirt and what not away with the hose. That would be a perfect boat for lake erie walleye fishin.Went down a few times with my friend who has the 21 starcraft. His is deep and wide too.Makes ya feel a bit safer in them big ponds. For what you have in it and have, you did well.im sure you will be happy with whatever you decide to do.Somtimes bigger isnt always better. From what i remember of mine it is pretty economical to run.Cold hard facts are you only get so many trips in a season anyway.See dad use to keep it in a slip.I was spoiled, had my own keys only rules were filler up top it off when you leave. Was nice just to drive out and go.Been reading all these nightmare boat launch stories.Other than when i was a youngster fishin with dad in his 14 ft cherokee never had to worry about it.Heck this summer up at mom and dads i helped a few folks get their rides in the water. One guy was so bad at backing.I said let me give it a try.I dont have any trouble being a ex truck driver. But he was happy. How do people drag somthing around they cant back up?Anyway I been getting round about prices on what i plan to do with my project boat.I am looking at about 4 to 5 grand by time its done. But what can you go buy for that?Someone elses problem child. So with no plans of ever selling it i think it will be well worth it.

Hey FnG,Your project is coming along well. Are you going to have to rebuild the transom too? From the pictures the stringers don't look bad.
Its a lot more fun when it starts going back together..Looks great!Keep up the good work!

Mine is the first boat i have owned without carpet.I love it,just wash it down when i get home and the dirt runs out the splash well drains.I have redone the trailer too,all new wires, lights, tires, new winch and guide ons.I got rid of the black rollers that marked the boat up everytime i load.I went with those yellow rollers, what a difference.Added bunk slicks and now i can load it alone without any problem.

Re: Stupid question about Shareaproject.com

Nope no stringers on my boat. Its all aluminum.Think what you seen was the braces that hold the gas tank down.Transom is all aluminum splash well with drain holes. It seems to be going too slow for me lol.I will also be doing a complete resto on the trailer.Thats where a good chunk of money comes in.I want three new tires and rims at 99.00 each at Bass Pro.They are galvanized rims with B 78 13 seems a fair price?Spare tire carrier.New lites,Guide ons,Dont know if i have to replace the rollers yet?The trailer was only used twice a year when it was used.New paint,Want to replace the tongue with a stainless one.Thinking seriously about painting it with that herculiner stuff been reading about on here.List goes on and on.Gonna be a fun hobby project.Kelly is happy i am finally showing intrest in learning about fixin sheet up.Never been much of a fix it guy.For some reason im eager to learn everything about this boat from bow to stern.Even gonna try to do the motor myself.Cant really afford to pay to get it done.So that part has me the most worried.I aint ignorant i can read a manual and instructions so hopefully it will go ok lol.Main problem will be if special tools will be needed? My tool box is pretty basic stuff.I will get it done eventually. No big rush.Got access to a 17 foot smoker craft a pontoon and my pick of three different fleas, which really aint my thing. This Smoker Craft is a sweet little fishin machine. It got me hooked on the bow mounted trolling motor once i got used to it.It sits there from spring til fall all i gotta do is get in and go.
