Stupid question department

Just changed the oil for the first time in my 3.0LX 135HP Mercruiser I/O. Is 5 quarts sufficient like in an automobile engine?

5 works on mine just be carefull on the last quart depending on how much oil you pumped out or drained you can overfill the motor<br /><br />tommays
