Hi, just a simple question for all you experts. All water seprating fuel filters are the same? They hold out the water while filtering the gas (particles in the fuel and tank). And the most important thing.... they all work for 2 stokes with the gas and oil pre-mixed. I just find it hard to believe that they can filter out water and particles while leaving the oil mixed. Just making sure....Thanks in advance!:D

Do not use anything smaller than 25 micron as it will lean oil ratio according to engine designers.

Jman, Water seperating filters use gravity to seperate the water. The fuel goes in the bottom of the filter, and fuel to the motor is taken from the top of the filter. Since water is denser than gas and oil, it sinks to the bottom of the filter. The filter part of the water seperator is simply a reasonable pleated paper filter, like an oil filter.
