Just wondering about washing boat out at dock! I don't see no drain holes, so would washing out not be a good idea?
I 'm thinking it has to drain to bilge then bail. But not sure.

Most likely against the law if you use any type of soap, detergents or cleaners. Most places do not allow you to discharge that stuff into the water.

"has to drain to bilge then bail"

if you don't have a bilge pump in that boat then you have a serious problem. what's the set up?

Does your boat have a PLUG???? It sounds like you have never opened it.

I have a 12v wash down pump on board and wash out fish blood and slime even when out fishing (slippery stuff). My bilge pump dumps it overboard for me. Just use lake water no soap or chemicals. When the boat is home I wash again with a little soap and a dab of bleach then rinse well and use the drain plug. It can get smelly if I don't get it all out and clean.

Re: Stupid question probably.

Sorry so long getting back. My boat has two bilge pumps one auto and one on a switch. We fish a lot of perch and walleye. But perch is one of the real messy fish to get. Streaming slime on the boat. I am docked on Lake Erie. We have water and electric. Just figured when coming back to dock it might be wise to hose down deck and rails. It's all a vinyl type covering. Just wondered if the water would run into the bilge quick enough to hose down. Never tried on a Starcraft so I don't know.Thought it might be wise to drill a couple 3/8's holes in the engine cover a long the floor to drain better as I don't see any. I assume it runs under cover but not sure how fast. I don't add soap or chemicals of any kind to the water. Also any one who knows Starcraft I/O's I was wondering if the thick line on the trim gage located up from lower trim is where you usually run at.
