Hi,
I was given a boat with a yamaha 250 efi that sank last season and is siezed. Is there any chance this engine is salvageable? Is a new powerhead an option, or would I need a new ecu and various other electrical components? I don't see any corrossion on wiring. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the block is toast.
its likely all the electrical is too if the plugs are corroded.

Like Ben said, the block and electrics are just so much scrap.

So I guess it needs a whole new outboard.I'm still going to try and get it freed up for the heck of it.Any suggestions besides filling cylinders with marvel mystery?
