Re: Sundance Skiffs
I used to own a Sundance V-17. V hull ( I don't think they make it anymore).

I can't speak to the ride of the current flat bottoms, but the boat I had did OK. It had very little deadrise so it was more of a bay boat than anything eles.

The finish inside was chopper gun- not pretty, but wore well. And even though it was a single hull design I can tell you from first hand experience it was unsinkable. ( I drove the bow into a 10' cresting wave in a bad storm I got caught in and it filled the boat!) I was then impressed with Sundance since I did not die.

Also the company itself is friendly and helpful. Just be aware that you are buying a boat that has been made (Like carolina skiff) in an inexpensive way as far as apperance, but a very good way as far as durability. (No wood stringers or floor ect.)

Just my two cents.
