Re: suntracker pontoons

Well since it is up to us I say scratch the pontoon and go for the 42 foot Hatteras and get yourself a place on the coast. Oh by the way if you need a first mate I may be available.

Merc makes a lot of motors and are less expensive than some of there counterparts. There bigfoot model is packaged with many a toon, and serve many well. What do you want? What are you willing to pay? There is no obvious choice or there would be no need for competition. YOU are the one that it needs to please and I would say that you my friend are on the verge of owning a new boat, congrats. Might I suggest the bunk trailer it serves me well!

Re: suntracker pontoons

I went with the crest. I liked the suntracker with tritoons and the i/o merc. I was to pick up a 22' model last saturday. Problem was on friday i rented one and decided i needed a bigger boat after getting caught in a storm. For the price i got a 25'crest with a 150 yamaha outboard. I really wanted the i/o but they conviced me to shed the weight and go for the horsepower in the outboard.I like the aluminum deck but,i had a number of negatives that made it a minimal factor in the decision. GET THE TRITOONS unless you are in really smooth water. good luck.
