Wonder if there is a way to do this? I have Marine Navigator on my laptop and also have a Furuno 1712 radar. Just wonder if there might be
a way to combine them like some of the new
units on the market.

Try calling erica at Maptech 18888395551. She has a list of units that will work on. Wanted to ask your opinion on maptech. Is it helpful for finding good bottom?

Thanks for info will call them. Yes the 3D terrain is nice for looking for ledges large
hills etc. I can review these places at home
that I might want to check out.
Im also going to be installing a sidescan sonar
which is real nice for looking at the bottom
in real detail.

Went to Miami boat show yesterday and looks like
my model will not work for that. I did find some
weather software that you can superimpose over
maptech to give you the same thing, in fact with
lots for information. Up to a 5day forcast wave height, temps and much more in real time.
www.weather.com
also there is www.xmwxweather.com can't superimpose the last one.

No, it won't do it. No rate compass and no provision for one.

Thm
