Support, or Not !?!?

Was just setting here wondering. This is the first I/O I have owned. I have a engine support, for when I pull the boat down the highway. Is it best over the winter to take the support off, or leave it in place? I installed the support, and lowered the lower unit into the support at the end of the season.

Which is best for the hydraulics??

It is best to lower the outdrive for storage. You do not need to support the outdrive while it is in the lowered position for storage.
