Your opinions? I had a set in my 1972 50 HP Johnson; seemed to work well. Finally fouled one Saturday after about 45-50 hours total use (this year and last). Replaced with standard NGK B9HS, runs great--should I buy another set of the surface gap plugs or just stick with the normal type?

Knot,

If the "normal" type work OK for you, stick with them.

I have always been told that the surface gap type were better for sustained high speed running.
