I am helping a friend repair a DT8, the siphan tube has rotted out, have heard that the part is not buyable, since it is pressed in at the factory. Has anyone ever retro fitted another tube in its place? would be hard to maufacture the part, do to the tiny holes along it. But seeting the tube inplace is easy.

Re: Susuki carb parts

There maybe another name for it. It is the small fuel line that lines the carb housing that the main jet screws to. A suzuki repair man said that they come pressed into the carb, and are not sold separately. It is less than 1/16 in with small pin holes to draw fuel up to the air chamber. Would like to try and manufacture my own and try it.
