Suzuki 115 4 stroke, Tach and speedometer not working

2005 Suzuki 115 4 stoke, How do I troubleshoot both of these not working? Both went out about the same time. Mounted on a Crest pontoon.

Are the two both Suzuki gauges?

I think the speedometer is going to be controlled by water pressure, you can check this by looking at the back of the gauge and you will see a hose in the middle of the gauge..


Tacho, for this to work it will first need a + and - feed check this first.

The gauges are factory installed by Crest Pontoons and the dash I have not figured how to get into. It is sealed from behind with some type pop in that I do not want to break.

Where in the engine should the tach wires be found?
