Hey guys... I threw the prop on my DT150 the other day; I put the new one on from my Suzuki dealer but it seems like there may need to be some sort of small spacer that goes on the shaft before the prop. The prop is actually "metal to metal" against the ring on the lower unit. Am I missing spacer or something?

Ayuh,.........

It sounds like you're Missing the Thrust Hub........

And,............

Make Sure that you slather the propshaft with Grease before installing the prop.........
That way you'll be Able to remove it when you want to.......

Re: Suzuki 150 Prop Installation

Mine did not come with a thrust washer either. I talked to the dealer and they said that Suzuki had a "prop stopper" already cast into the prop shaft and that I didn't need one. I've ran Hustler and Michigan Wheel props that where specifically hubbed for a Suzuki with no problem. On the other hand, I've got a Mercury Tempest Plus prop that doesn't allow the castle nut to line up with the cotter pin hole. Seems like the thrust washer that is supplied with their Flo-Torq II hub kit is either wrong or I don't need it. Looks like a project for the spring.
